Preparation:

  • Optimal Testing Time:
    Tests should be conducted between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM on an empty stomach. It is important to fast for at least 8 hours before the tests to ensure accurate results.
  • Avoidance of Specific Foods and Activities:
    For reliable results in tests like glucose, cholesterol, or triglycerides, avoid consuming fatty foods, sweets, and alcohol the day before.
  • Delay Testing After Certain Procedures:
    Postpone tests immediately following paraclinical tests (e.g., X-rays, CT, MRI) or physical therapy, as these may affect the results.
