Surgical Procedure for Eyelids (wrinkles, “bags,” excess skin) – Upper and Lower
The cost of the surgery includes the surgical procedure, anesthesia, medical tests, consumable materials, medical assistance during the surgery and recovery period, any potential re-operations within the warranty periods, and hospitalization, depending on the type of surgery, between 24 and 48 hours.
Additionally, medical compression garments are provided (breast support, stabilizers, belts, sleeves, bodysuits, facial masks), as well as creams for scar treatment.

 
Blepharoplasty is a procedure performed to correct the appearance of the upper and/or lower eyelids.
One of the first signs of aging is the appearance of excess skin and soft tissue in the upper eyelid area, as well as dark circles and wrinkles on the lower eyelids. Eventually, the eyelids become less voluminous and lighter, making the eyes and gaze appear more open.
 
The youthful appearance of the face is largely related to the look of the area around the eyes and cheekbones. Blepharoplasty is a minor procedure that rejuvenates the eye area and can be combined with other facial surgical procedures if needed.
 
PROCEDURE:
The average duration of the procedure is 40-60 minutes for the upper or lower eyelids separately or up to 2 hours if both the upper and lower eyelids are treated simultaneously.
 
Through small incisions on the skin or even from the inner side of the eyelids, we can correct these issues by removing excess tissues and reshaping them. The incisions heal quickly and stitches can be removed as soon as 5 days after the surgery.
 
Upper Blepharoplasty
This involves removing excess fat and skin from the upper eyelid. Often, excess skin can even obstruct vision. Upper blepharoplasty is the most common facial procedure performed on an outpatient basis, without hospitalization, with quick and easy recovery.
 
Lower Blepharoplasty
This involves removing excess skin and fat bags under the eyes. This procedure also helps reduce dark circles by repositioning the fat under the eyes.
 
Can Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty Be Done Simultaneously?
The eyelids can be reshaped during the same surgical procedure. It can also be combined with other types of procedures, such as a facelift.
 
RECOVERY:
This surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia, both on an outpatient basis and with a maximum one-day hospitalization.
 
You can apply makeup to this area as early as the first days after the surgery. For one month, it is recommended to avoid extreme temperatures (e.g., saunas, very hot baths, etc.).

Final results become apparent 3-6 months after the blepharoplasty.
